Since 1987, the Minnesota NHL Alumni Association (formerly the Minnesota North Stars Alumni) and our individual members have committed significant time, energy and resources to various activities and events that result in benefit to youth and/or worthwhile causes generally related to the sport of hockey. Our group has been heavily involved with the Minnesota WILD – partnering in many activities with the WILD.

As an organization we have contributed over two hundred thousand dollars in scholarships and contributions to such organizations as American Cancer, Camp Confidence, Masterton Foundation, Marriucci Inner City Youth Hockey, as well as various youth hockey organizations across the state.

A major part of our fund raising comes from our annual charity golf event. The golf tournament benefits the MN NHL Alumni Scholarship Fund. The appeal of our events, and therefore the success of our charitable endeavors, depends on participants, sponsorships, donations and contributions.
